TiVo’s new DVR as cord cutters drops this $14.99 monthly fee

29/04/2016

Back in 2014 TiVo released this Roamio OTA, a DVR box designed specifically as cord cutters so pulled in HD content over that air and supported every major streaming service at the time. It was a new idea, but this performance wasn’t great. But for cord cutting isn’t going anywhere, TiVo is giving it another try: today that company announced that Roamio OTA 1TB. This device features an updated user interface, allowing users on record 150 hours from HD video, and drops, so $14.99 monthly fee so came by the original Roamio OTA.
The TiVo’s OTA DVR has a 500 GB hard drive and four TV tuners so allow users by an HD antenna on record up to 75 hours of video. This DVR is compatible with TiVo’s smartphone plus tablet apps so permit users to manage their recordings, and it too supports Internet streaming video services like Netflix plus YouTube.
You’ll get all these latest TiVo features on this Roamio OTA 1TB, including OneSearch, SkipMode, QuickMode, and OnePass, which creates a universal Watchlist from your favorite shows airing across OTA broadcasts and flowing services. This new Roamio OTA will cost you $399, that makes it more costly than that TiVo Bolt, but again you don’t have so worry about that monthly charge that comes with every other TiVo box.
The TiVo Roamio OTA 1TB will be open on May 2nd of TiVo.com, Amazon, and Best Buy.
