Who needs a sound recording app when you’ve got a tricked-out voice recorder? #Philips’ new SpeechAir is an Android sound recorder so includes a touch screen and camera. It can even pair up by computers over Bluetooth and connect to Wi-Fi! This camera, whereas useful for taking pictures from whatsoever you’re recording, is too apparently good as barcode scanning, that will help health professionals, Philips says.
It runs a heavily customized translation of Android 4.4.2. Powering this plan is a dual-core Cortex A9 CPU, that comes clocked at 1.6 GHz. It too boasts 1GB of RAM, 16GB from internal storage, and Bluetooth connectivity and WiFi. The press release makes no mention of Google or that Play Store, so it views like you won’t do playing Angry Birds on your call recorder.
The device also owns an antimicrobial and Gorilla glass shell for this “toughest environments.” I’m no sure where these sound recorders are going, but I’m no sure I want so tag along. These recordings are encrypted, also. Philips doesn’t list pricing information just does offer to help you discover a local retailer.
